Instructor Before you can animate a logo in 3D, a relatively simple but common task, is to get the artwork from Adobe Illustrator into Cinema 4D, in order to work with it further. So, this is a coffee logo, and we're going to have to do a few things to this to make it compatible with the Illustrator 8 format, which Cinema 4D accepts. And, the font I'm using here is called Phosphate.
And, this has been bundled with macOS X since version 10.10, which was Yosemite, I believe. Or just use one of your own fonts on your system if you're getting any errors when you open up this file. Alternatively, you can open up this version which already has the text converted to outlines. And, in fact, this is something that we will have to do when converting a file so that Cinema 4D can actually use it. So, with the text selected.
